Henriette of Belgium

Henriette Marie Charlotte Antoinette, Princess of Belgium

Named for her aunt, Queen Marie Henriette of the Belgians, and her maternal grandfather Karl Anton, Fürst von Hohenzollern. Marie is for the Holy Virgin Mary, a name that every member oft he Catholic royal family of Belgium bears.  

Daughter of Philippe Prince of Belgium, Comte de Flandre (1837-1905) and his wife Marie Princess of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (1845-1912).

Born: Brussels 30. Nov 1870

Married: Brussels 12. Feb 1896 Emmanuel Prince d’Orléans, Duc de Vendôme (1872-1931), her second cousin once removed, son of Ferdinand Prince d’Orléans, Duc d’Alençon (1844-1910) and Sophie Duchess in Bavaria (1847-1897)
