Married: Chapel, Varel Castel 1. Jul 1733 (div.1740) Sophie Charlotte Reichsgräfin von Aldenburg (1715-1800), daughter of Anton II. Reichsgraf von Aldenburg and Wilhelmine Marie Princess of Hesse-Homburg

• Christiaan Rijksgraaf Bentinck (1734-1768) m.1760 Maria Katharina van Tuyll van Serooskerken (1743-1793)

• Albert Rijksgraaf Bentinck (1737-1775) m.1763 Renira van Tuyll van Serooskerken (d.1792)
