Son of Edward, Prince of Wales, later Edward VII. King of the United Kingdom (1841-1910) and Alexandra, Princess of Denmark (1844-1925)

Engagement: Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire (counry residence of the Danish ambassador) 3. Dec 1891 to Mary, Princess of Teck (1867-1953), daughter of Francis, Duke of Teck (1837-1900), himself the morganatic son of Alexander, Duke of Württemberg (1804-1885), and Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge (1833-1897). Mary later married Albert Victor’s younger brother George, who became King of the United Kingdom as George V. (1865-1936).

Died: Sandringham House, Norfolk 14. Jan 1892 from pneumonia

Buried: St. George’s Chapel, Windsor
