Andrew, Duke of York

Born Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward of Edinburgh.

He was named for his grandfather, Andreas (Andrew) Prince of Greece and Denmark. Created Duke of York on his marriage in 1986.

Son of Queen Elizabeth II. of the United Kingdom (1926) and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, formerly Prince of Greece and Denmark (1921).
