Dec 1793 (ann.1794) Lady Augusta Murray (1768-1830), daughter of John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore (1732-1809) and his wife Lady Charlotte Stewart (d.1818), daughter of the 6th Earl of Galloway.

  2. (in contravention of the Royal Marriages Act) Great Cumberland Place, London 2. May 1831 Lady Cecilia Gore (c.1785-1873), daughter of Arthur Gore, 2nd Earl of Arran (1734-1809) and his third wife Elizabeth Underwood. She was created Duchess of Inverness in 1840.
