Daughter of Frederick, Prince of Wales (1707-1751) and his wife Augusta, Princess of Saxe-Gotha (1719-1772).

Issue:

The father of her daughter Louise Augusta was most likely Caroline Matilda’s lover, the daughter of Johann Friedrich Struensee (1737-1772), King Chrisitan VII. German physician. The royal marriage was dissolved by divorce and Struensee executed in 1772.
