Born Prince Albert Edward, Duke of of Cornwall. Christened after his father and maternal grandfather, called "Bertie" by his family. Styled Prince of Wales one month after his birth. Succeded his mother as Edward VII in 1901.

Son of Albert, Prince of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (1819-1861) and Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom (1819-1901)

Died: Buckingham Palace 6. May 1910 after several heart attacks

Buried: St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle
