Amelia FitzClarence

Born Amelia FitzClarence, called "Mely" or "Milly" by her family, and named after her fathers youngest sister, Princess Amelia. She was granted the rank of a marquess’ daughter in 1831 after her father ascended to the throne

Illegitimate daughter of Prince William, Duke of Gloucester, the future King William IV. of the United Kingdom (1765-1837) and the actress Dorothea Bland, called Mrs. Jordan (1761-1815)

Married: Pavillion, Brighton 27. Dec 1830 Lucius Cary, 10th Viscount of Falkland (1803-1884), son of Charles Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland (1768-1809) and Christiana Anton (d. 1822)
