Beatrice of Edinburgh

Born Princess Beatrice Leopoldine Victoria of Edinburg, called "Bea" by her family.

She was styled Princess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha after her father ascended to this Duchy in 1893.

Daughter of Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, who succeded as Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 1893, (1844-1900) and his wife Maria Alexandrovna, Grand Duchess of Russia (1853-1920)

Married: Coburg 15. Jul 1909 Alfonso de Orléans y Borbòn, Prince d’Orléans, Infante of Spain, 5th Duque de Galliera (1886-1975), son of Antonio de Orléans y Borbòn, Prince d’Orléans, Infante of Spain, 4th Duque de Galliera (1866-1930) and his wife Eulalia, Infanta of Spain (1864-1958).
