Friedrich I. King of Württemberg

Born Friedrich Wilhelm Karl, Duke of Württemberg. Succeded his father as Friedrich III. Duke of Württemberg in 1797. Assumed the title Elector of Württemberg in 1803 and recognized by Napoleon I. as King Friedrich of Württemberg in 1805.

Son of Friedrich II. Eugen, Duke of Württemberg (1732-1797) and Friederike Dorothea Sophie, Princess of Brandenburg-Schwedt (1736-1798)
