Admiral The Hon. Sir Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay

Younger son of John Ramsay, 13th Earl of Dalhousie (1847-1887) and Lady Ida Bennet (1857-1887), daughter of Charles Bennet, 6th Earl of Tankerville (1810-1899).

Born: London 29. May 1881

Married: Westminster Abbey, London 27. Feb 1919 Princess Patricia of Connaught (1886-1974), daughter of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn (1850-1942) and Luise Margarethe, Princess of Prussia (1860-1917).

Issue:

• Alexander Ramsay of Mar (1919-2000) m. 1956 Flora Fraser, 21st Lady Saltoun in her own right (1930)

Died: Ribsden Holt, Windlesham, Surrey 8. Oct 1872
