Louis Ferdinand of Prussia

Friedrich Ludwig Christian, Prince of Prussia

Commonly called Louis Ferdinand. The name “Ferdinand” was added to distinguish him from his nephew once removed, Prince Louis of Prussia, son of King Friedrich Wilhelm II.

Son of Ferdinand, Prince of Prussia (1730-1813) and his wife Luise, Margravine of Brandenburg-Schwedt (1738-1820)

Born: Friedrichsfelde Castle, Berlin 18. Nov 1772

Illegitimate issue by Eberhardine Charlotte Justine von Schlieben

Illegitimate issue by Henriette Fromme (1783-after 1828)

Died: Killed in action at Wöhlsdorf near Saalfeld 10. Oct 1806
