Daughter of Karl II. Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1741-1816) and his first wife Friederike, Landgravine of Hesse-Darmstadt (1752-1782)

Married: Berlin, 24. Dec 1793 Friedrich Wilhelm III. King of Prussia (1770-1840)

Two days later her sister Friederike married Friedrich Wilhelm’s younger brother Prince Ludwig of Prussia.
